Greenhouse Gas Inventories
Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories provide detailed accounting of heat-trapping gases such as CO₂ and CH₄ emitted or removed due to human activities over a specific period.

Operational Management Plans
Conditions in permits and licences issued by NEPA often require permittees to prepare and submit operational management plans. These plans help minimise or eliminate potential adverse environmental impacts and improve operational efficiency.
EEM has prepared and/or supported development of:

Air Emissions & Dispersion Modelling
Air Emissions Inventories help organisations determine whether the types and loading of pollutants generated by operations require an Air Pollutant Discharge Licence (APDL) from the NRCA. EEM also conducts air dispersion modelling to simulate how pollutants disperse from stack and fugitive sources.

Management Systems (ISO, HACCP, QMS)
EEM supports organisations in implementing Environmental and Quality Management Systems using standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and HACCP. Work typically includes gap analyses, procedure development, training, internal audits and certification support.

• J. Wray & Nephew – Facilitated implementation of ISO 14001:2015 EMS for the Agricultural Division (New Yarmouth Estate, Appleton Sugar Factory and Appleton Distillery) (2018–2020)
• Federated Pharmaceuticals 2014 Ltd. – Facilitated the update of approximately 100 procedures and work instructions governing operations at the manufacturing facility (2015)
• Clarendon Distillers Ltd. (CDL) – Assisted with implementation of a HACCP system (2014–2017)
• Nestlé Jamaica Ltd. – Assisted in implementation of ISO 14001:2004 EMS by developing lists of applicable legal and other requirements and monitoring and measurement requirements for OHS and Environmental Management (2010)
• Bureau of Standards Jamaica – Established Quality and Environmental Management Systems to ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 standards in collaboration with Maxine Campbell & Associates (2009–2011)
• Water Resources Authority (WRA) – Provided training on ISO 9001:2000 implementation using IWA4 guidelines for local government bodies and prepared a guidance document (2008)
Jamaica Manufacturers’ Association / CIDA ENACT:
• Provided technical assistance to manufacturing companies (Jamaica Citrus Growers Ltd., Turbolife and Lasco) to prepare Environmental Management Programmes (2008)
• Provided technical assistance to J. Wray & Nephew and Federated Pharmaceuticals to implement ISO 14001:2004 EMS; Federated Pharmaceuticals was certified in December 2008 and J. Wray & Nephew in January 2009 (2007–2009)
• Norman Manley International Airport Ltd – Developed and implemented an EMS to ISO 14001:2004 standard (2007–2009)
• Kaiser Jamaica Bauxite Co. – Collaborated to establish an EMS, identify significant aspects and develop procedures and responsibilities (2001)

Environmental Audits are conducted at existing facilities to evaluate compliance with environmental regulations, best practices and company-specific requirements. These audits identify gaps in Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and support continual improvement.

• International Organisation for Migration (IOM) – Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Audit including interviews, document review, site inspections and recommendations (2018)
• National Health Fund – Environmental Audit and Risk Assessment of the Pharmaceutical Division at 78 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston, including IAQ, water and waste audits, occupational and environmental risk assessment, and development of a Waste Management Policy (2016)

Lighting and Noise Assessments
Noise Assessments evaluate existing or potential noise levels in various environments. Using precision digital noise meters, data are collected and analysed on noise sources, frequency and amplitude to determine compliance with relevant standards and impacts on surrounding communities.

Indoor Air Quality Assessments
Indoor Air Quality Assessments (IAQAs) ensure that air inside buildings and workspaces is healthy and comfortable for occupants. Assessments include facility inspections and measurement of key indicators such as CO, CO₂, temperature, relative humidity, particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5), mould spores and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

• Environmental assessment of the area around the Ewarton Bauxite Plant, including flora/fauna, sediment analyses and water quality assessment following a spill (2011)
